Even though this book is rated for ages 3+, my 1.5 YO is already totally engaged by the vibrant illustrations and different animals that he doesn't see at our local zoo. The rhyming story is great for his language skills - particularly when Daddy reads it with an Australian accent. We love Duncan in our house and can't wait to see where he goes next!Product details

This is a wonderful little book about a bird, Duncan, who travels to Australia and meets a friend who tells him all about the native wildlife. What a great way to teach about animals in their natural habitat. I would recommend this book to teachers (grammar school, preschool) and to parents alike. I hope that the travels of Duncan continue all around the world! I would love to have a collection! Loved it!!!
Duncan is a curious bird with friends in foreign places! He wants to learn more about where they live so he goes to search things out. A lovely, lyrical book that introduces some of the wonders of the Land Down Under, leaves kids wanting to know more...about Australia AND what Duncan's next adventure could be!!!
